i guess friday was the last day we could officially put on our cedar uniforms. we wanted to take a cedar/vjc batch photo but when mr seet saw the wave of blue walking back to the hall he screamed "you better go for class now or i'll catch all the cedar girls ah!" or something along those lines. ses said that she started picturing our class in vj uniforms because she couldnt sleep. haha and apparently i'd look dull. and i think the vj uniform looks so much better with the tie on! i mean friday is tie day but pshh, in cedar, everyday is tie day! haha i read something somewhere where this lady said "Men tie a little noose around their necks.. what a clever way to start the day." whatever man. or woman. haha oh man, my sense of humour is becoming worse and worse.

i think we look better in blue. haha im going to miss my nice big shirt. haha the sizes get bigger as we get older huh. my sister thinks that i'd look like a nurse in the vj uniform. whatever i dont believe her. haha

right now, i'm really happy with the new 08a12, still the same old people with a few new (and crazy) additions. except eugenia's missing and i really miss her but i bet she's having fun ogling at the acs boys. she says the younger ones are more good looking. haha darn

and VJCSB! thank goodness i decided to join band again. i guess it was partly because of phy- cos i dont think i would have even gone for the first prac if it wasnt for her. and the people are exciting and funny. i still remember meeting alyssa on the first band prac and we were both reluctant to join band but look where it got us. i think its real fun having band practice with the J1s. i guess its cos we get to bond more and go for mass dance and lunch afterwards. haha after practice, we went to join the SCs and CTs for mass dance. they looked quite scary from far cos everyone knew the steps and they were all so coordinated. but heck, we just ran to the back and turned the mass dance into a mess dance. haha bad humour again. esp the 'i want you' dance. alyssa was laughing at people dancing. but really, they looked quite funny. the best part was there was some guy with a video cam recording the whole dance. HAHA SHOOT. we probably spoilt the whole video and ruined our reputation for the next two years. but heck right?

SEVENTEEN

it's a sunday night and i'm feeling horrible about having lessons after 5 days of non stop fun and gambling. but happy cos ManU(re) just lost to City 2-1 and i dont think i have the guts to watch Liverpool have a go at Chelsea so hello blog.

oh yes and HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS!! this year was really good but i dont i feel that same sense of celebration or excitement as i used to when i was a kid. same with christmas and easter. not sure why though, since we do the same things and see the same people every year. and oh, i turned seventeen on tuesday!! 17's not much of a significant number though. there's sweet 16, legal 18 and R21. but not 17, its just, you know, 17. so i wasnt really looking forward to it, i think its best to have your birthday in the mid year- that way you're more prepared. HAHA for what im not too sure

so i'd like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that remembered or wished me or are asking me why the heck i didnt reply when they sent me a birthday message at midnight. eh, i was sleeping. haha what? it was a school night and i was lazy. my sister almost murdered me cos the phone was vibrating so violently. so here goes: THANK YOU-

B+B Recess Gang- yay, thanks for coming all the way down from school. peirong is hopeless at surprising people but its alright, the cake made up for it. haha they were so sweet. they got me a cake from awfully chocolate

4c- for the fish&co. birthday dinner. me and xinying were so clueless we didnt realise they were giving us a surprise. haha good job man. thanks for the cake and presents! and jiang and jessie chose a bikini for me. haha i said "what in the world am i going to with this piece of cloth and string?" jiang- "frame it up!" haha okay. and i have so many pomegranate body shop prducts now. my sis says maybe it because im smelly. whatever, siblings never tell the truth anyway.

oh and jiang smashed whipped cream in my face! and yanying made it better by putting some in my eye. haha oh yes, we were all amused by the fish&co birthday song. "where do you wanna go? and THIS is my birthday present from my godpa. and its GORGEOUS i got bored during history lecture and made one little girl happy

and we had a leaders outing! we missed thilanga, zhiyin and JESSICA. it was good food (we went to coffee club!) and happy days again. i miss csb- we shall have one more outing when jess comes back from the US.

haha with 6 js and one ass. haha well, we started talking really loudly till the waiteress had to come shut us up. haha the food was good but the company was better. they started talking about people from school and at times, being mean and funny at the same time. weian ordered wine just cos he was legal. but it tasted like ribena and water and alcohol man. HAHA
then when i was stuffed full of chicken and potatoes, we went to eat katong laksa and ordered ONE fabulous bowl of laksa when there were 7 of us there. oh, and 2 lime juices- dont forget that.
then we walked a longgggg way to cafe cartel for cakes. haha. on the way, i got suan-ed real bad. basil told a really long joke that i got lost halfway. something about red and green trucks that i didnt quite catch. and they started substituting the word bimbo with my name and told bimbo jokes. DAMN i have never been called a bimbo before and i have a brain somewhere alright. haha yes, somewhere

and yes! i cant wait to see jer, minghui and peiying perform during CNY. haha im all set

o level results

well, the big Os have finally come and gone and i'm still feeling the effects of it all.

backtrack to thursday, or D DAY or doomsday as many others have put it. met up with the whole bunch of girls in blue from 4C (yeah!!). the whole of ppmacs was packed with Cedarians- which were obviously talking and eating real loudly- its our nature, what can i say? thats the way ppmacs used to be anyway. haha i always remembered us going there to eat and discuss about some nonsense and looking at ah lians from random (meaning not cedar) schools make use of the foggy/misty windows to show the world how proficient they can be in the one language they excel in. read- vulgar. we also mixed up chilli, milo, mayo, icecream to make a special concoction that only a starving person or moron would dare to taste. once again, showing why home econs was my worst subject at one point.
occasionally you know, we upgrade to T3 cube. HAHA yes, all the magazines, internet and crayons. mostly with kath, meng, vicky, yanying, xinying and gang to chill. haha

moving on, we went back to cedar to inhale the 'new school' smell. HAHA we went MAAAD i tell you, running around as screaming at the teachers as though hey were superstars. and priya got sabo-ed by Mdm Lum!! haha she made priya tell the whole sec 4 class to study hard and do better than us. haha MALU

well, so in the end i got a wonderful nine. thinking about it now, its alright for me i guess. but i was bawling when i received the results though. haha my sister tried cheering me up by telling me other people's scores from her school. and i was crying on the line saying "i dont care about them man!!" haha poor eric. haha i wont go into that anymore. 9 pointers gang. HAHA

and 4C went for dinner at Fish and Co. alright!! only a rocking class can go out after crying so much. haha. we get over things fast huh. haha dinner was great but we had to shout cos there was this guy singing on stage. when he went of key, mr sng's eyebrows rose. HAHA well, we all have different reactions to bad singing

orientation was probably manymany weeks ago but you know, my time moves slower than yours. and i'm really not consistent with updating. took half a year to upload photos onto the net. HAHA at least it got done in the end right?
im in cyrus cyco! with the most enthusiastic see hwee. haha i was so relieved when she was in my sub group. felt like NCO all over again didnt it? haha she bullying me and me lying to her that i was a ballerina (which she believed cos she's nice and i did a twirly-like movement) HAHA

our OGLs were wei an, phy, alex and cheryl. and the psychos were cihui, minghui, pu en, jonathan, basil, jingying, ming de, yu hang, bethany, thomas, meng tian, wei jian, terence... ah eh, i cant do this without leaving anyone out. i havent memorised anything since amaths formulae and chemistry rubbish. sorry

day one of orientation was alright. a little too high for me i have to admit. haha being a cedarian and everything, you'd think that you could match their level of enthusiasm but NO. haha it's not easy to switch camps so quickly. one moment its WE ARE THE GIRLS and CEDAR SOLID, the next it's YO VJC. haha okay so now i know the hand sign stands for the cheer. during the NSSN concert, when they sang the school song and did the 'i love you' sign, i was like "wow, they really loved their school that much huh" HAHA now i know.

of course the other days were better and fun(ner?) haha. warming up only takes a day i guess. i shall write about that later on. by feb, i promise. which is a special month anyway. HAHA NOT SO SUBTLE HINT

"gillian choo! you're the Singaporean!" haha thanks ah. okay so the AIDs thing was meant to be a meaningful journey/ process thing. and when i got lost i went oh crap, the place was smaller than my house for god's sake. haha but you know, stupidity knows no bounds. in the end, i gave up and asked the lady for help. she laughed at me! haha i dont blame her though. Cecil, the pink lady, couldnt stop laughing either.

my sister is desperately trying to learn chinese by watching the news. yeah, and we're both really lost. the only thing i understood was something about Disneyland which is trivial and practically useless. my sis gave up completely and started laughing at the newscaster's eyebrows. HAHA that's education for you

can't wait to see everyone again on thursday! but i have dental after the results though. im going there to cry if i do badly. see what the dentist'll do. haha

nov dec hols

hey everyone!! alright alright, i'm blogging. haha

its painful to hear kelly and the rest reciting the first few lines of my posts. haha

weellll, hopefully everyone is enjoying their new schools and classes since orientation is over. cos on the first day i was asking around and everyone seemed to be not too happy. haha. i know how yall feel. but yesterday, i was talking to kelly and she was all 'tj is fun' and so is everyone else.

okay back track to new years eve. we had a countdown party at syl's house! it was syl, me, kelly, jessie, xinying, jiang, jer and qianyi. we played pool, had a barbeque and did the whole 54321 happy new year thing. haha it was really fun though. ohoh, and there were these 2 kids that were playing with sparklers and xinying, the 6 year old kid trapped in a 16 year old girls body, wanted to play too. so when their parents went away (HAHA) we asked them nicely for some. haha the little boy was so cute- he wore a batman costume and tried to show off and played AEIOU. haha and afterwards when he ran off to his mum he ran back. and said 'when holiday time you all come here (the playground) and we play again okay. but i must finish my homework first.'

haha i swear xinying had a crush on him. haha then jer turned to me and said ' we probably wont see him again'. it was sad but ya, give him a week and we'll be clean forgotten. haha

ohoh, and 4C went to Mind's Cafe! haha i was supposed to be Mr Sng'a and Ms Begum's birthday, but they couldnt make it. so we had cake for no reason. haha we were having fun playing retarded games and being crazy. haha me, vicky, shahini and varruna went shopping before that! feels great to be going out and having fun and spending all your money till you have none. haha we started playing the games and everytime, one of the staff would come over and say " sorry miss, but that's not how to play the game" HAHA embarrassing no?

and kelly, i know i sound pretty dumb in my older posts. haha as for the s2pid thing, that was a weak attempt to show my love and interest for maths. haha didnt convince anyone though.

im blogging now cos frankly, i have nothing better to do.
prelim results came out today and im a seven pointer(: haha, for one subject only. sort of expecting myself to fail chem but i didnt feel great when people everywhere were getting 90s and A1s. dang. how am i going to jump so many grades from now till the o's? haha miracles do happen right? right? haha guess not. maybe if i cant get a job or anything real to do for the first month i'll just go to some random jc to have fun. haha maybe. so there's still lit, emaths and physics left tomorrow. im banking on all 3 subjects so ya, no choice already. beggars cant be choosers.

i really need some motivation right now. havent been studying for over a week. its time to take out the books and papers and feather dusters and mug. but i dont have the mood. haha just so you know, scary movie 4 is a lame show. couldnt get past half an hour of it. and i can stand watching alot of crappy shows. just ask vicky and gang. we watched in her shoes and we were all dying from boredom but no one said anything. till vicky said, okay can we go now? then we were all, YES! OKAY LETS GO haha

okayokay, just when i'm supposed to be studying about sustainable development and all that junk, i've been watching the VMAs the whole afternoon. and oh my, im swooning over chris brown. absolutely swooning. haha go check out his performance during the VMAs. im never deleting that reording. hahaa. after he danced and did his thing, all the rapper people were congratulating him and all that. juxtapose (haha) this with the reaction to britney spears performance. haha polite claps all around and then straight to commercials. haha poor lady. never wear a panty and bra set and fishnet stockings if you look worse than your backup dancers. haha. really
